Work with meI didn't choose this work. I stumbled into it the way most things worth doing happen — by accident, at a festival. I grew up in Rome, spent years organising events there, then started crossing Europe as an attendee — festival to festival, country to country. That's when I first encountered the systems that make large-scale events actually work: cashless payment infrastructure, access control at scale, real-time operational command.
I was fascinated by the gap between what was planned and what actually happened on the ground. That gap is where I operate. Over 10 years, across more than 100 events in 20+ countries, I've built an understanding of how large-scale event operations break — and more importantly, how to prevent it.
I anticipate failures before they happen and build operational systems that hold when everything else is moving. The work is not about planning on paper — it's about control on the ground. Events run smoothly until something breaks. That's when I step in.
Plans are only as good as their execution. I focus on what happens on the ground, not what was agreed in a meeting room. The field is where control is won or lost.
When things change — and they always do — I make clear decisions quickly. The cost of inaction is higher than the cost of being wrong. Hesitation is what turns a problem into a crisis.
The best problem is the one that never happens. I identify risks before they become incidents — on paper, in rehearsal, in the systems audit — not in the middle of an event.
